Information Guide For Campers

What to Expect

A week of camp consists of:

  • Praise and worship in chapel
  • Physical activities and games
  • Campfires
  • Swimming, canoeing and nature hikes
  • Three nutritious meals per day and an evening snack
  • Tuck-shop where an assortment of snacks can be purchased
  • A variety night, including impromptu comedy, solo acts, and musical groups (Senior Week only)
Typical Day at Camp

Junior Camp:

6:30 am: Polar swim—For the stout of heart

7:15 am: Rise and shine—Cabin and camp cleanup

8:00 am: Breakfast

9:00 am: Chapel, cabin bible session, workshops

12:00 pm: Lunch

1:00 pm: Hikes, canoes, games, tuck-shop, free time

5:00 pm: Supper

6:00 pm: All camp activity

8:30 pm: Campfire, snack, bedtime


 

Senior Camp:

7:00 am: Polar swim—For the stout of heart

7:30 am: Rise and shine—Cabin and camp cleanup

8:00 am: Breakfast

9:00 am: Chapel, cabin bible discussion

10:30 am: Learning workshops

12:00 pm: Lunch

1:00 pm: Hikes, canoes, games

3:30 pm: Tuck-shop, swimming, water crafts, free time

5:00 pm: Supper

6:00 pm: All camp activity

8:00 pm: Campfire,

9:30 pm: Snack, bedtime

Additional Information
  • Campers sleep in either lodges or cabins.
  • Each group of 5 to 6 campers are assigned a counsellor to oversee and mentor the campers.
  • All activities at Camp Adonai are supervised.
  • Qualified lifeguards supervise all water activities, and medical staff are on the grounds at all times.
  • Camp Adonai provides campers the opportunity to support under-privileged children through the Free-a-Family program by World Renew.
